LEVEL: Advanced Committee
The Security Council (UNSC) is the most powerful decision-making body of the UN. With fifteen members (five of them permanent, and ten of them non-permanent), the Security Council has for instance the power to authorise military intervention and international sanctions. The Security Council is a small committee for experienced delegates.

Occupation: Too much MUN
MUN Life: Been participating in MUN since the age of 15 as a delegate, chair and secretariat member. Currently the Secretary-General of LIMUN: High School. CUIMUN 2017 will be my 35th conference on the whole and my 24th as a Chair.
Hobbies: Trying to give up doing MUN, cooking too much Italian food for my own sanity and criticising so called “Italian restaurants” that put pineapple on pizza and chicken with pasta.
Fun Fact about Me: Somehow got the Oxbridge Chairing Award despite the ill-judgement of the CUIMUN and OxIMUN Secretariat.

Occupation: Also too much MUN…with the occasional bit of studying for my Politics and IR degree (Final year at the University of Reading)
MUN life: Began participation since age 17 and have been to 32 conferences ever since. Have taken on the role of delegate, chair, logistics volunteer, crisis director and secretariat member. Currently the Deputy Secretary-General for LIMUN: High School. Have been to conferences in the UK, Latvia, Belgium and Dubai.
Hobbies: Video games, gym and MUN. Also a former karate student.
Fun fact about me: I’m a massive West Coast Hip-Hop enthusiast (I guess you could say that CUIMUN is ‘Straight Outta Cambridge’) .
